Privacy

ArenaPulse shows public World of Warcraft PvP data. This page says exactly what the site stores, for how long, and what you can do about it.

What we store about characters

Ladder rows, ratings, wins and losses, achievements, talents and gear come from Blizzard’s public API for every character that appears on a rated ladder or that someone looks up. Rating history is kept for the current and past seasons; per-event history older than a year is rolled up.

Alt detection

Characters are linked as alts when they share a large set of account-wide achievement timestamps. This is an inference from public data, not an account lookup. If a link is wrong, the report form on any profile flags it for review; a character’s owner can also hide alt links from their signed-in account page.

Accounts and cookies

Signing in uses Battle.net OAuth; we store your Battle.net id and battletag, which characters you claimed, your favorites and likes, LFG listings and messages. Cookies: a session id (signed, HttpOnly), an anonymous voter id for news votes, and your language choice. No advertising or third-party analytics scripts run on this site.

Retention and deletion

Nightly database backups are kept for a few days. Deleting your account from the account page removes your claims, reactions, listings and messages; public ladder data about characters stays, as it is Blizzard’s public record.

Contact

Use the report form (“Report” on any profile) for wrong alt links, wintrading evidence or anything that should not be here. Reports are read by a human.
